Deep, dark colour. Nose with dark fruit (blackberries) and sweet spices (vanilla, cinnamon). Full and aromatic in the mouth. Tannins present but already smooth and well-integrated.
50% Merlot 50% Cabernet Sauvignon. Age of the vines: 20 years
Traditional vinification with maturing in oak barrels for the Cabernet Sauvignon for five months.
A wine full of character that merits being drunk with gourmet dishes: meat served with sauce, game and ripened cheeses.
Serve at 16 to 18°C. Decant two hours before drinking. To be drunk now, will be at its peak over the next five years.
